Family System Therapy

Family Systems Therapy can be basically summed up as an approach which uses the idea that sometimes certain problems presented lie within the family system as a whole, and not just within a single person. The skills of a family therapist include the ability to influence conversations in a way that uses the strengths, wisdom, and support of the members of the family system itself as well as the wider system.
